Shortest LCA relocation brackets?

Yea, technically the backstrap is the second point of contact, because the bolt that goes through it is only 1 in the axis it rotates.

Whats the rule set regarding LCA brackets? brand, mounting points, or mounting point quantity?

I have the Ford Racing ones on mine. I trimmed them a bit to allow the BNR lowers to articulate without contact. ( blue dry marker in pic)

Argh. I have BMR LCAs as well. If I'm going to have to modify, I'll probably follow Skwerl's example and trim the BMR brackets.

On another note - had an '86 T-Bird Turbo with a 5.0 swap back in the day. And an '88 LSC with a few mods, too. Fun cars!

In all seriousness I have seen a lot of HF tools fail. I honestly never seen a jack stand fail unless it was overloaded or on a unstable surface.

That is true... but Ive cracked many a HF socket and stripped plenty of ratchet gears
