It's been a busy few days. I installed the SHR louvers, CDC Classic Chin Spoiler, CDC Hood Struts, had the valve covers poished and had the mirrors painted. Also, painted the hood strut mounts in body color. The Whipple is next. I know some of you won't care for the Pony badges but to each his own.

The CDC items fit perfect no modifications needed. I read other posts that people said you needed to grind the alignment pins off the Pony emblems, but I did not find this to be the case. The glass removal for the louvers is a little tricky in regards to not scratching the paint but not too bad. I did have the glass company do this.

What specifically did you use to polish the valvecovers?

Can't go wrong with the cdc classic chin spoiler, and I like those louvers--how they are flush with the rest of the body. I have been thinking about painting my mirrors to.

I sent the valve covers out to be polished. To the best of my knowledge it was just standard aluminum polish.

Nice ride. Love the color... of course.
Just curious, how difficult is it to remove the valve covers?
