What part of "I was running the 93 tune" do you not understand? I have two tunes on my SCT, a 93 tune and a 100 octane race tune. The race tune has more aggressive timing and other tweaks for more all out power and the 93 tune is what I use every day. Yes, there was Torco in the tank but I was still running the 93 tune. I don't know how else to say it to make you understand.

That's the part you're missing...the race tune wasn't installed.

Interesting concept. I wish I had known that b4 my own M80's were welded into place. The M80's are made from 304 SS. At Aprx $44.00 each from AM....they are a real bargain.

I use FRPP FRS-500 mufflers on my 2010 GT. Everything was perfect..till the JBA LT's and high flow cats were installed.

( note, when the FRS-500 mufflers were initially installed, they had this resonant drone at exactly 1900 rpm..drove me nuts..it sounds like stuff vibrating. It would vanish with just + /- 25 rpm too. After 2 weeks it dropped way off, and 2 weeks after that, was completely gone).

Fast forward a bit. LT's + high flow cats installed. Drone @ 1900 rpm was real bad. Plus the exhaust was really loud..too loud. Cops read me the riot act, said they could impound the car, told me to get it fixed..asap. Neighbours not impressed 1st thing in the AM..and also late at night.

In went the M80's. Problem solved. Still a tiny bit of drone @ 1900 rpm. Staggering M80's would be easy to do, I wish I had known that trick.

Yea I bought the M80's because they were cheap as well and the drone was terrible after installing my JBA LT with off-road H-pipes. Had them with Saleen magnaflow mufflers.

Yes. He had residual Torco leftover from a track night.

What I'd really like to see...is him convert to E85 system.
That shit is good for 75 extry HP, alone.

I wish I could run E85. When I lived in FL, E85 was not that readily available. Not sure if in the past 2-3 years its demand has grown.

E85 ain't gonna happen in my car. I'm not rebuilding my entire fuel system and I'm not going to live with only a 100 mile range before the low fuel warning comes on. When I was 15 and had a moped it had a 100 mile range which was great, but I'm no longer 15 and I'm not driving a moped. I expect to be able to drive around town more than 2 days on a tank of fuel.

You don't need to rebuild your fuel system!!!
You may need bigger injectors, but with your GT500 pumps and the voltage booster, you are already setup to run E85.

Shit. He would need more than injectors to make 700 on e85...unless some how some way his duty cycles are in the 50-60% range with the gt500 pump setup. Which I do not see as being the case.

He's already posted in this thread his duty cycle...just don't ask him to repeat it. He gets all kinds of butt hurt repeating himself. I think it was 76%...plenty left to hit 700. He's gonna hit 700 today, anyway. He's heading to VMP today for a tune after his new cam install and loading his race tune.

Come on now!! Talk to Bruce, he runs E85. IIRC, he gets 200-250 or so out of his tank.

E85 is cheaper!!! About $1 cheaper I think compared to premium...its especially a bargain when you consider how much race fuel costs. E85 fits in the category between 93 octane and 110 (whatever unleaded race fuel is). Race fuel is in the $8 to $10 per gallon range.

I agree on the % more fuel needed. But in the long run, IE a full tank of fuel, it is very comparable to 93 and way cheaper than any race gas.

Skwerl doesn't have ID1000s. He has stock ROUSH injectors; I think they are 52lb.

His fuel system isn't stock, GT500 + voltage booster. That's why I say, add bigger injectors with what he already has, he can definitely run E85. Not sure if he can sustain 700 though, I don't see why not.

I was told with my setup, I can run E85 and hit 800s.
