I'm getting inquiries on the drive train which is fine, but I'm not there yet as far as being able to pull it. I'm thinking in the $3K range for the transmission including everything from the flywheel to the driveshaft. Billet steel flywheel, RST clutch, FRPP stainless clutch line, custom Dynotech driveshaft.

Would obviously prefer selling the engine and blower together, otherwise blower install becomes a huge hassle. I may end up separating them though if nobody wants the whole 643hp package. Buying the engine and blower together would also include all the extra 6 and 8 rib pulleys, all the accessories with 8 rib pulleys installed including both alternators, I'd like to figure out how to include the wiring harness so it will literally be 'plug and play'. The engine will sell quickly by itself but I won't list it separately until and unless the blower is sold. Blower buyer would have first rights to all complimentary accessories and wiring. I think the engine and supercharger are worth $8K including everything from the air filter to the oil pan.

Have someone interested in the blower and two people interested in the trans, need to slow down a little since I still haven't bought the car back from the insurance company yet.

From pictures doesnt look unfixable. Not sure why they told you it could never be registered. If fixed you have it inspected and they give you a rebuilt title. I would think you might be able to sell it as a whole and do better then parting it out Ive bought a few and refurbed them

Are you dead set on not fixing it? You could probably still come out with money in the bank and your car if buy it back and fix it (I think).

It's a Florida thing. State law won't allow a totaled car back on the road.

Ive never heard of a state not allowing you to rebuild a car and then have the police inspect it. It would have a salvage or rebuilt title but would still be able to register the car. Good luck with the sale of the stuff. Im curious to what they would want for a buy back on it surely it cant be that high

I remember a ebay thread where he stated the car (FL) could not be put back on the road. I thought at the time it was weird (not much damage).

Sorry to hear about this.
My first project car burned to a crisp in a garage fire, I remember that feeling of loss all too well.
Keep your head up and get a replacement, it hurries the healing process.

Thanks guys. Putting my mind to work addressing the task of parting out the car is keeping me occupied and I'm still working on the car so it's comfortable. At some point I'll miss having my toy but so far it's not too bad. I think once the corpse leaves the driveway is when it's going to hit me.

Been running crazy tonight taking notes and keeping up with messages. I have a busy day tomorrow pulling and packaging all the stuff that has sold already. It's already an hour past my bed time and I'm wired.
