The invoice for those rotors is dated May of 2010. But I didn't put them on until last summer when the rotors (and pads) I'd been running on got to the end of their track life.

They're still on the car, and even with XP10's there hasn't been all that much noise except during the current cold snap, and only a little once in a while. Pad wear? Hasn't seemed bad, given that about 20% - 25% of the miles on them have been track miles. Must have been the show car appearance weenies whining again.

Another question on the aeroforce gauge.

The AM description says: "2005-2010 Mustangs would require the use of the Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor Kit. Similarly, to properly monitor your Fuel or Oil Pressure, all 2005-2012 Mustangs would require the use of the Fuel or Oil Pressure Sensor kits."

Is that just an old description, or do you get fuel and oil pressure on 13-14 Mustang without the sensor kits?

Nice looking rotors. I'll be curious to read how well they hold up. They are a bit spendier than the blank Centrics I'm running now. I won't argue with a bit of hard-park bling if they also work on track; half the events I do with the car are local club shows, so some visual bling would be nice even with function > form as the general rule for mods.

The pads seem to be bedded in. I took the car for a short drive today. Holy crap, these brakes are awesome. I can feel with my right foot just how much pressure the pads are exerting on the discs. The ability to modulate the brake input is simply phenomenal.

Unfortunately, the first autocross of the year has to wait. My crappy day job decided that I need to spend the next 8 weeks on the road. I was told I'm "not paid to have a life" outside of work.

Small update. I went to JPC today to have them install these gauges that AutoMeter sent me to review. I had to pay JPC to do it because of my ridiculous day job schedule right now.

These are AutoMeter's new Elite series. They have selectable colors (kind of like our dashes), have a warning function that can make the gauge change color if it reads too high or low, have a 5-V output for a data logger (letting you use one sensor for both gauge and data), and can even activate relays at user-defined levels. (For instance, I could use my oil temp gauge to turn on an oil cooler fan at 240* and turn it off at 190*.)

I'll have a full review soon. I'm going to spend this weekend playing around with these things and taking pictures.

While at JPC, Aaron noted that my PCV system was completely stock. He recommended replacing both valve cover hoses with breathers. I went ahead and did so (they were cheap), but I kept the original hoses just in case. JPC claims they've had no issues with this setup on NA cars, and that it keeps 100% of the oil out of the intake (obviously).

Finally, I had just enough daylight left to perform the Pony's annual pre-season oil change. (My neighbors know to ignore Groundhog Day and watch for when I do my oil change to know when Spring REALLY starts.)

And now, it is time for beer.

Why do you still have the ugly sound tube running from your intake to the firewall? I believe mine got tossed the first week I owned my car.

I was at my buddy's shop and he had a new radiator there to install in some car. The dust caps on the openings were the perfect size to replace my sound tube on the intake. I have no idea of the exact size but it cost me nothing.

I have been running those breathers as well. However I think I am going to reconnect at least the passenger side and add a catch can. Lots of guys in this thread from another forum saying it's not a good idea:
