this is crazy..cant people just list what their setup is when posting up their pic...searching and searching to see pics with no info is pointless when looking for a suspension and wheel setup..this is the only good thread to see different setups on 18's isnt it

why are you going to change the springs from the frpp's...i am looking at dropping my car but not decided which way to go yet..also where did u order those replica saleens?

The FRPP's are a progressive rate spring, while the Steeda's are a known 'set rate'. This will make the car a bit more predictable for road racing as the spring rate doesn't change as the suspension is compressed. At least thats what I've been told.

The wheels are from American Muscle

Thats a nice setup ^^^^

fhlh , car is looking damn good

Thanks guys... it's in the middle of another transformation as I type this.
I'll post the update in the pimpin' forums soon

Here some pics from MustangFest back in Oct.

I'm running Replica Saleen's 18x9 (255/45 Nitto 555) in the front with 18x10 (285/40 Nitto 555) in the back... 2005+ Offset.
Suspension: Koni Adjustables with FRPP Springs. J&M Rear Lower Control Arms, UMI Adjustable Pan hard bar

Future Wheel/Suspension mods:
Wheels: Need an 18x10 on all four corners, needs to clear Brembos. I want something like the BBS' on the 302R.
Suspension: Steeda Sport Springs and J&M Camber Plates (in the garage waiting on me). GT500 rear sway bar and a Watts Link.

Im not a yellow fan, but you sir have a great lookin ride!

Sorry, it's not slammed....it is a good thread for 18 inch wheels!

Their FR500's. New to mustangs?

yes i am new to mustangs but not new to cars at all..ive built a few just havent been in the mustang game and im trying to get my suspension figured out...im not concerned with what the wheels are, im looking for suspension and sizes of tires and offsets and all in pics to see what it will look like..i have a 07 gt/cs that has roush 18x10 wheels all around with 275/40/18's all around so i am trying to gauge which suspension i want to go with..i will be putting 285/40/18's on the back...ive been leaning toward the frpp k springs but just not sure it will be low enough for me, however i want a decent ride still as i will be driving it quite a bit..this is my DD.

Newbie here, ordered this last year while overseas and picked it up in January. Out of 20,453 2010 GT's only 415 were Sunset Gold.

Here it is stock enroute to California

Here it is with Steeda springs and custom painted GT500 takeoffs. Not exactly slammed but lowered 1.5 in the rear and 1 in the front.
Trying to keep it somewhat practical.

I'm seriously debating getting some 18" replica Saleen's because of fhlh's car.

That, sir, is one bad ass car! The color reminds me of the classic cars.

That was my intention. I am still debating on installing the flat black rear window louvers as in the 69-70 Mach 1 cars. I don't want to go overboard and risk making the car look tacky. I have resisted a lot of aftermarket add ons in an effort to keep it looking clean.
