Pop the nub off, I had to take mine off when I put on my Avant Gardes. Nothing wrong with doing it either, its just a cheap plastic piece that the center cap will act in the absence of.

Hmm it does say "do not adjust, do not remove, permanently lubed" right on it.

I can't get the thing off with out mangling the shit out of it. It's sort of glued on so I wouldn't be able to put it back.

What's it look like under that cap? Seems like they went to some trouble to seal it that well. I think that maybe it needs to be sealed to keep the greese in when it heats up?

I started to take mine off but now I'm thinking I need to do some research on it.

Here is one more, black rims are not easy to show. Not sure how feel about the look.

The rims are Linea Corsa LC818's

Have you considered maybe some white paint to accent the rims? I found a set of rims similar to these locally for a great price, but I'm not 100% sold on the all black; I'd want something to break it up.

Well, plastidip does come in white so you could play around a bit with it I guess. Strange how the wheels look better in person up close, but from afar or in pics not so much.

Got a shimmy in the wheel, guess I need a re-balance even though it was road force balanced.

If you just pulled your factory wheels off and put the new ones on, check this: there is a single washer on one wheel stud for each wheel that helps hold the disc in place with no wheel mounted up. If those are still on there, remove them.

The factory wheels have a countersink on the back side at each lug hole, and this washer fits in there. So, the factory wheels will mount to the hubs flat. Most aftermarket wheels don't have the countersink on the back side, so the washer will cause the wheel to be just slightly crooked, but it's enough to cause a shake in the steering wheel.

Good catch, I will check that out and see if my wheels are counter sunk and if not remove the washer. Either way this little washer could be a big thing for some one dealing with a balancing issue.

I think I found the offending wheel though. I rotated the R side and the shimmy went away from the wheel and moved to the seat. So now I know I need to take the RR wheel back in to the shop.

Mine? I wish they were deep concave, for some reason they didn't offer that on a 20x11.

My 19x11 f14's concave is pretty deep. Still wondering if I can fit a 335/ 30 on there. Hmmm

weird. you'd think forgestar would have no problem selling a deep concave wheel for the 20x11 if they do it for the 20x10.5. still looks good

Needing some help and figured this may be a good place to ask.. I am wanting to lower my car either with coilovers or springs/shock route. Not wanting to slam it but would like to get it to sit lower to get rid of the 4x4 look below. I do not track the car but do drag race on occasion maybe twice a year. Mainly a cruiser/car show ride. Ride quality is important to me. Car is on 19's RTR. Can you help me out...:helpme:
