So currently I have a Flashpaq Superchips Tuner that I got with my car (07 Gt). My question is, I am thinking about getting a tune required CAi, should I get one with a different tuner (possibly better tuner) or stick with this tuner, and get just the CAI? I was told from a guy at superchips, tunes would cost anywhere from 10-19$

Yes of course. I took time out of my day to just troll about a tuner.... No I am not. I have been told that the superchips tuners aren't all that great, hence asking the question .

I think those tuners were cool in the 90's not sure you can get the major email tuners to write for that.
Go with SCT :)

Superchips actually started SCT (SuperChipsTuning) but has since sold it...

IMO your tune is the most critical piece in your entire performance build. It is not the place to go bargain shopping. I would not even consider putting a $19 tune in my car. The cheaper the tune, the more money it will cost you.

Did that tuner come out of a box that looks something like this??

In all seriousness, since you have an '07 with what seems like no mods, I'd just get the tuner and tunes for life from AmericanMuscle.com that way you can add stuff and keep getting tunes for your car for free.

I had a 2006 GT 3V and the UPR CAI/Tuner made a big difference in power. I was surprised. I'd definitely recommend buying them as a package.

I'd put the money towards an sct and something else for the car...a CAI is a waste of time on a mild bolt on car if you ask me.

Honestly, just take off the CAI, it will run much better. 3V's have 2 intake valves per cylinder and need all the air they can get

Delete the throttle body too, who wants a big metal blade clogging up your intake?
