So I'm assuming you run a few businesses then huh? I started off driving old school muscle cars in high school that were slow as piss but I loved them!!! When reading your list of cars you sold I was like OMG this guy is the shit haha. At least you're keeping the GT stang!

A few times yes. Only track I've been to so far. It's not bad. It was closed most of last summer but I think the Menholt family is going to lease or rent it this year.

They really would like to sell it. They were asking $1,150,000 for it. The price has come down a bunch. It looks like the schedule is better this year than it was last year. When it sells, the new owner really needs to work on other ways to be profitable. As you know, the drag racing season is very short in Montana and the car counts have been very bad. Other venues like snowmobile drags in the winter, mud bog racing, autocross, that sort of thing. it needs to be more of a motorsports park.

Yeah the current owner has had it on the market for a while. She ended up letting some guy run it early last summer. Was pretty much a disaster. Nobody showed up to race and the track conditions were god awful. That went on for while then they shut down again. Late in the summer someone who knew what they were doing (Menholt) took over and ran it a few times. Much better results then. A lot of people showed up and the track was in better shape.

I think it used to be called "intermountain motorsports park" so in the past maybe there was a bigger range of services they offered out there? I know the location hurts it a bit and also the access road is something everyone bitches about constantly because it's gravel. Not everyone has a trailer to drag a car in there on. I hope that some day it gets the attention it deserves and gets developed because the nearest drag strip otherwise that's any good is at least 4 hours away from here.

I'm keeping the 08 GT Mustang and that's it. I decided at the first of the year it's time to liquidate! I have too many cars that I have not driven in a long time. After awhile, it becomes more of a burden than fun. Going to sell everything and concentrate on a couple of cars. I am buying my brother inlaws 2009 black Viper ACR. It's in North Carolina. Germeezy or Bruce, up for a road trip? I would like to find a Ford GT also.

Hopefully by the end of the month, all I will have left is my Mustang.

How's that going to work? Fly out and fly back, lol.

Maybe. I have property in Livingston that I would like to build on. And there are two businesses in Montana that are for sale that I am interested in. One is in Livingston and the other is in Acton.

Are you buying a gunshop and taking the middleman out of the picture?:lol2:

Stock the ZR1 is faster, but I think the ACR is badass. I know he had Hennessey do a a bunch of work to it. Not sure what though.

Congrats on the Viper; you're gonna love it, and way more exclusive than the Vette! The ZR1 is special, but it's still a C6, whereas the Viper is trully a stunning vehicle. I had a 97 GTS and would still have it today if not for the twins we got pregnant with!

And the Viper ACR is on another level from even a normal Viper, it owned the " Ring " production car record for a a while. In person its almost unbelievably good looking, so purposeful and mean looking.

I should re-phrase that. I would like to own one of the two businesses I am looking at in Montana. Not both of them. A gun dealer would be cool, never really thought of that.
