Hi all, this is for a 2005 Mustang GT I bought about a month ago. My old daily driver was a Challenger and I had a Predator tuner for it, I liked the multiple canned tunes as well and the ability to adjust other parameters like throttle boost independently. Also being able to hook it up to my laptop for logging was nice. Does the SCT type tuner which seems more popular with stangs offer all that?
I know the predator was replaced but I read the new stuff from Diablo offers that too.
If the SCT does offer all that then I'm thinking I'll pull the trigger on a JLT CAI BAMA tuner combo after I take care of taxes.

Throttle boost at least in the Dodge world is basically adjusting the delay in the fly by wire throttle system. It's really bad in those cars so you can tune it out to some extent. Thanks for answering and sorry for the wrong posting.

I used a Diablo tuner for my supercharged '07 GT and it worked very well. I've used the SCT tuners for my '11 and '14 GT's and SCT works just as well.

Basically, the handheld tuners themselves are just the vessels that hold the tunes that the tuning companies write. More Mustang tuners seem to use SCT software, but plenty of tuners are using Diablosport, as well.
