This is a 10.2 Meg Sony, so I resized these.

This was taken with a friends Shelby and Roush.

Nice pics.

BTW, have you had any tech inspectors look at the battery box closely?

Yeah, because that is a sweet set up----but I don't think it would pass tech. Then again, they hardly ever look at my battery box either so I would imagine 90% of the time they wouldn't sweat you for it. Its the other 10% of the time that would piss you off....

I haven't been to the track since I did that, but it won't matter much anyway. I'm the guy that can (and has!) taken a 12 second car and turned it into a 14 second car. Now, having never read the rules, if one of those plastic boxes will pass tech this thing should fly by with no problem.

I was looking at two things:

1) the box needs to be completely sealed. Also needs to be vented to the outside.
2) didn't see a master disconnect switch--which you will need. Oddly enough, not once in tech has someone actually tested my disconnect switch to see if it works as intended.

It is completely sealed and vented, so it would just need a switch.

I've done 3 runs in my car (1st time ever at the track) and did three 13.7's at 112, all 60 ft's in the 2.4 range. With a real driver that should put it high 11's / low 12's, but since it's my daily I'm not real concerned. Since then I've dropped about 100 pounds and added a few ponies and a bunch of torque. I had it retuned last week and did 403 / 395.

Then with a good set of tires you should be in the 11's easy with a trap of 113-114.
