Dunno.
No, there would be less power. The more energy you use to spin a smaller pulley means less energy available to get through the rest of the drive train to the wheels.
Say Bro, you are incorrect here. Whats easier to push a tractor tire or a automobile tire ? The smaller tire is easier, same principle as lower rear gears. Now by putting a bigger waterpump pulley, you maintain are overdriving the waterpump to keep same impellar speed that you had before you put the smaller pulley on the crank.
You need to think of the pulley system as the same as your mountain bike. Smaller on the pedal sprocket means lower gear and easier to pedal, smaller on wheel sprocket and harder to pedal.
Underdrive pulleys are always a great mod, 5-10RWHP across your entire rpm range is better than 20RWHP at peak.

4 pages about UDP's??? Y'all R CRAZY!

When i put mine in and a BMR Rad Support i didnt even notice a difference.so if i put my stock water pump pulley back on, there will be more power? of course i will need a shorter belt but is it worth it?
Agreed, the larger water pump pulley is easier to turn and will turn less revolutions per crank rotationNo, there would be less power. The more energy you use to spin a smaller pulley means less energy available to get through the rest of the drive train to the wheels.
