In your opinion, how was the overall ride quality with the Steeda Sports with Tokico D-specs, BMR sway bars and re-lo brackets? Reason for asking is, i'm considering upgrading from Eibach Pro Kit Springs to Steeda Sport Springs

I really like the ride quality, even with 20" wheels. As long as I don't have the rear bar on full stiff, it is very compliant and handles everything I have the courage to throw at it on a mountain road (Up here in BC, we have some spectacular ones).
It is definitely stiffer than a stock ride but it feels far more controlled and gets rid of the brake dive.
I run the Tokicos 3 1/2 turns out from full stiff for daily driving and 3 turns out if I am having fun in the corners. Going to 4 turns out softens it up more than I like but is still miles better than the stock setup.

It really sucks that Tokico discontinued the D-specs. If I had know about their ability to adjust for both compression and rebound prior to purchasing my Koni sport adjustable dampers? I would've went with the D-specs over the Koni sports. However, I went by Sam Strano's recommendation, as he highly recommended the Koni adjustable sports over both Bilstein and Tokico. At any rate, the only other adjustable dampers available for the 2005-10 Mustangs that I'm aware of, is from Strange Engineering but I don't really know much about them nor the quality of their products. Knowing that you really like the ride quality of the Steeda Sport Springs and D-specs, perhaps the Steeda Sport Springs might provide the ride quality I'm searching for along with the Koni sport adjustable dampers over my current Eibach Pro Kit Springs

From what I've read, the D-specs have a lot of cross talk in the adjuster (if I recall, the damping and the rebound do not behave linearly with each other) so for an autocrosser or a road race guy, it is difficult to impossible to dial them in, if you want more compression, you get a bunch more rebound along with it. I'm not near the level that I can feel whether I need more rebound or compression or one more than the other individually so they work fine for someone like me who wants a sharp handling street car.

The adjustability does work decent for drag racing as I can soften up the fronts and get the initial weight transfer. It would be nice to to be able to slow the compression after the initial hit but for their price point, they are good for a street/strip car. If they wear out, I have no idea what I'd replace them with.

If in the event your D-specs wear out? It would appear your replacement options would be between Strange single adjustable or Koni sport yellow adjustable which also offer a limited, lifetime warranty. Anyhow, I'm pretty much in the same boat as yourself who's neither an autocrosser nor a road racer, but just wants a sharp handling street car. Therefore in your opinion, would pairing the Steeda Sport Springs with Koni sport adjustable struts/shocks provide for a smoother ride quality over my current Eibach Pro Kit Springs or would upgrading from the Eibach's to Steeda Sport Springs be so negligible that very little to no difference would be noticeable enough to justify making the switch

I really don't know if it would be enough of a difference but I'd say it mostly comes down to the condition of your roads where you drive. I have not driven an S197 with the eibach pro-kit or the Koni sports so I don't have a good frame of reference.

Unfortunately here in southwestern, PA. the condition of most of our roads are really horrible lol. What I can tell you, is the condition on some of our interstate roads are actually pretty decent and smooth. Needless to say, when on those select few roads that aren't crappy, ride quality is actually very livable, but definitely much firmer than OEM stock to say the very least. Meanwhile, unless you have driven an S197 with the eibach pro kit springs or Koni sports as you just brought up? then yes, you couldn't possibly know if upgrading to Steeda Sport Springs would be enough to notice a difference or not. Perhaps I should've asked in the previous post if you had ever driven an S197 with either Eibach Pro Springs or Koni Sport adjustable dampers first lol.

I just installed the steeda springs/struts and shocks with adj panard bar along with gt500 wheels and tires on my 17000 mile 2006 gt conv, really happy with the look, not happy with the ride, does not take much of a bump to cause a hard shock in the frt, also have gt500 strut mounts and strut brace, ready to put stock springs back? (Also put cut down fp bump stops) thanks

Which tires are you running, how old are the tires, and what tire pressures are you running?
