still trying to track down my "oil in the coolant" issue,new idea

so i was looking at the pictures of my build and trying to see if i could find anything that stuck out.

can anyone highlight the oil passages?

then i started thinking, besides the oil filter mount and headgaskets,is there anything else that could allow the oil/water to meet.so can anyone tell me if the water pipe that comes off the back of the water pump,into the intake valley if that comes into contact with oil anywhere inside?

fixin to order new gaskets and studs,just want to make sure i check everything else first.

The top round passage on the back of the block is the oil passage port. No that tube does not come in contact with any oil passages.

thats what i was thinking. so the oil comes up from that one hole,then comes back down the timing chain cover.so if it is the headgaskets,it would be at the rear of the head on the pass side and front of the head on the driver side.

this is the only pic i have with the head gasket on, thats the coolant crossover port just above the oil port i beleive.i wonder if my problem is right there?

where does it "loose" pressure, soon as it comes out the cam bearings? the 3 holes at teh bottom would not retain pressure correct?

Don't worry about that part. The only thing you should look into is where the galley feeds the head and the areas around the return holes. You need to carefully inspect each gasket as it comes off the engine. Do not wipe it at all. Take it off and inspect the surface area for any signs of seepage.
