Hey guys, long time no talk.
I am removing my 3v intake plenum for the first time in 180k miles to put on my c&l intake plenum.
That joker is STUCK on there. Any of you run into this before? I have double checked all 8 bolts are removed and Ive used a heat gun some in case it was removed once without me knowing and had rtv on it.
I even pried on it a little while heating it up, but I also didn't want to break the stock manifold since it is plastic. It flexes a little and I think I have seen just ever so slightly some separation, but that is with some decent force. If this thing was metal, I'd just put the rest of the beans on it and remove it.
I know some of you old school dudes have removed one too. Did you have any issue and what were some tips and tricks? Hoping to knock this out today, put the tune rev on there from Lito, and hit the dragon next weekend with my son
Thanks
