I made 585 on my whipple and it still had a little left at 6500.

MAF range of slot style meters is 100% tied to the size of the MAF housing you place it in and whether or not you are setup in a draw through or blow through configuration. You could probably support 2000hp in a 10" MAF housing, but meter resolution in the low rpm's would be non-existent due to poor velocity and I am sure terrible turbulence.

Having said that, what intake and MAF housing is being used? Only then can we tell you what the capacity is.

+1. The new competition air intake that Edelbrock has uses a stock MAF in a 100mm housing and it can most likely go up to the mid 600rwhp range.

Think 88 mm steeda cai housing. Made 410/390 on the dyno today.

My stock maf maxed at 488 with my whipple. To be more specific my tuner didn't feel comfortable tweaking the table any more. The frpp injectors were also maxed at that level. I realize it's not apples to apples.
