One car has a Saleen S/C while the other is N/A with bolt ons. What would be an approximate price on swapping the supercharger and N/A parts, plus tuning? Also, without the tuning? That would be for both cars total. I'm trying to get a feel of what is good, bad, and decent. So far, I'm at $1700-$1500, and that doesn't sound completely right, and it's for both installation and tuning.

Well.. you figure most places are probably going to charge around a grand to do an install. So $1500 to remove parts from two cars and put parts back on two cars, dealing with used parts, taking up two bays instead of one, dyno time & tuning really isn't that bad of a deal

Yeah, that's what I've been contemplating. It would be at Gearheads, but I'm torn up between a JDM tune or the GH dyno tune. I also have to upgrade my coolant shit since his car is an 07, and probably a few other things....

id say between 500-600 bucks. its about the same amount of work as swapping cams...kinda but not really. and most places charge 500-700 for cam install.

Your guess would be 5-7 for just the swap? Right?

That price sounds cheap! Gear heads always has good prices. They quoted me $1100 for an install and tune of my vortech. Doing two cars is a lot more work.

first, idk why you would want a email tune over a dyno tune especially if the dyno tune is included in that $1500, you will benefit way more from the dyno tune

second, GH (just from what i hear) are pretty good at tuning s197 cars. ive heard nothing but good things from travis about his work... again, just from what ive heard. if i had F/I i would take it to him to tune it.. or simple quick racing in benbrook. ive heard he was pretty decent

im glad i know how to work on my own stuff lol i see how much money i save

edit: what all exact parts would be swapped from the N/A car?

Paid 800 for just an install of saleen sc. Tune was 250$. Paid a lil extra to get plugs changed. All total the install and tune was 1100. So two cars 1500$ sounds like a deal.
