I have a BMR K member for sale in the parts section.

it's 1/2" drop so it will give you some extra clearance for a high rise intake or a blower.

I will also suggest a DOB 450 intake setup if you want to go supercharged.

Eaton Truetrac or the BOSS Torsen will be fine. T-2R's are prone to grenade at the strip (Torsen does not recommend their units for heavy strip use), and T-2 is not the same as the BOSS Torsen (which Torsen themselves call a "2nd Gen T-2R").

T-2 is about $500, and has a ratio of 2.0.
T-2R is about $700, was used on the FR500S, and has a ratio of 4.0 (IIRC uses clutches to gain that high ratio).
BOSS "T-2(R)" Torsen is almost $1,000, and has the 2.7 ratio. Supposed to be built better than the other Torsens mentioned above.

Both Torsen's and TrueTrac's are awesome for the street and corners, but a lot of people like to lean towards the Eaton for street/strip duty.

They use pre-loading clutches on some of their units. I know one of those 3 has them, and I think it is the T-2R because of the high ratio. I can't remember because all the research I did on them was quite a while ago.

Thanks mrt2you, see the k-member has sold already. And yes having a great chat with Jason regards the DOB GT450 & R-Spec. Maybe i'll get a 5.3L stroked engine from DSS or Brenspeed first, then one of those big whipples in 2017......

Hi guys, sorry to rehash my old thread.

I've got my new LT to install but I'm thinking of swapping out the k-member at the sane time, not to mention taking advantage of the black Friday deals. I'm planning on the BMR K-Member with lowered motor mounts and maybe the BMR A-arms.

If i go the A-arms I assume the adjustable ones are the way to go, or is that only if you intend to seriously track the car?
