Buddy of mine installed it without cutting into the dash..he did have to knotch the aluminum a bit but i figure thats cheaper than replacing the dash..I think it came out great and it actually sits lower than my keanan cowl...

Im not restless, but I will be honest, I think it look stupid as fuck. Whats wrong with the one in the dash? Is it a drag only car? Big tachs are for functional drag cars that have shitty tachs from the factory or are modded to rev past where it reads and need them, or dumbass ricers who think they look cool. Just my opinion. I wont even start on the fact that this is in the tech section im sure it will get moved soon. Maybe he thought it said "tach" section lol. Take it or leave just my opinion since you posted it for everyone to see.

I have to adgree and disagree with lightblade. Never the less I am glad to see different ideas for our cars. Has anyone seen the factory drag car cobra jet mustang? It has the same tach just mounted on top of the dash. Thanks for showing us your idea of cool.

Side note; I would much rather see posts like this as some dick weed putting a LS chevy motor in our cars.

That being said, how the hell can you see anything out of the windshield between the cowl and the tach? Can you even see anything out of the RH side of the windshield? Stock the visibility leaves a bit to be desired, driving that car must be like being “trapped”.
