Just wanna say this tensioner is still holding up to the abuse. Made 6 hard passes last night and it's still 100%. Did break the ring gear though! Time for a Tru Trac and another set of 4.10's!

Great job Peter!!!

Thanks David.,
Have you ever considered an ECTED? I've heard they work like a spool when locked.

I have considered an Ected before. When I was looking into it, I learned of someone putting their car into a wall due to their Ected failing. It was probably a one in a million ordeal, but I went with a Tru Trac. I had some passes on my tru trac and it looked brand new when I pulled it out.

For those of you who have received and installed your new tensioners do you have any updates? Testimonials? Photos we can use on our upcoming website?

For all those who have purchased or are thinking of purchasing out tensioner. We are so confident in its strength that it comes with a 1 year free replacement warranty.

Here is the latest change made to the look of our tensioner.
We welcome comments from those who have already received their tensioners.

I personally don't care for polished engine components, but if people are willing to spend $500+ for polished supercharger compressor housings, perhaps you could offer it as an option on your tensioner.

its made out of billet aluminum for the strength. the polished look is just a by product and its not possible to make it an option. billet aluminum is naturally shiny after you hit it with a polish pad. you could always not polish it i guess but then it looks dull. we arent using this tensioner because of the looks, we are using it out of necessity.

It isn't polist at all.
It's touched on a scotchbrite wheel to take out any nicks and scratches.
That one was bounciing round my trunk for a couple of days which is why a few small scratches can be seen.

Counting the days

I just got back from a business trip in China and opened the box to look at my new tensioner. All I can say is thank you for the great job you did with this. I will put it on as soon as I take the car our of storage. It will be nice to speed shift without fear.

Thanks again.

UPDATE:

I have been doing some test fitting of the Tension_rrr on an 03/04 Terminator.
With some minor adjustments we will have one in testing within a week or so.
