IT'S Alive!!!

I started the Beast up for the first time today, just to check for leaks so only ran for a little while. One of these days I'll actually get it finished. Here are a couple shots of how the cold side piping we made came out. What do you guys think?

Earl

Sweet! What's the red wiring/tubing/image too small to tell?

I think I need to get my ass in gear and get mine together!

Very nice...

Can you tell us what you modded from the "kit"?

Well the kit is very complete and you don’t really have to change anything but I wanted things a little different. I changed the location of the computer and did a lot of rewiring, added water cooling lines and oil restrictors for the BB turbo’s, changed the air filter location, made a new intake pipe with mount for the SCT MAS. Also lots of little things based on the way I wanted everything.

I have the best of intentions to "do it right" the first time and re-wire the bewhozits out of everything for various reasons including but not limited to appearance, but I may loose patience and/or time if things keep on the way they are going. Not all my fault - it has taken 7 months to get all the parts ~:-/

Been backed up for the past 2 weeks repairing the Exploder and cleaning the garage and house in prep for this. Hopefully, I can finish that and start the long block assembly this week.

I was going to put the new motor in N/A and add the turbos later, but having just changed the exhaust on the other engine, I know now that is MUCH easier with the engine out, so I am going to put the turbos in and set them up for zero boost for N/A break-in.

I was in the same boat but I'm going to do the break in on low boost and just try and stay out of it for awhile.

Earl
Yeah, like that's possible:thud:

I'm also bypassing the boost for initial fire-up. Too many variables to deal with...

Thanks for the comments guys. This project has taken so long I’m about to go nuts waiting to get it done. I know it will be worth it in the end but at times I wish I had never started it.
