I'm considering the magnum trans for my manual car too was wondering would it be a cheaper route to throw a used gt500 trans instead in or? Just a thought ...shooting for about 700 rwhp w a Paxton on 9.5:1 aluminator ...I have a McLeod twin disc and mgw shifter since I've done that the car is much more fun and consistent to shift may just keep the mt82 til it goes either way...

I would go magnum...I'm gonna keep my mt until it grenades, then I will absolutely go the gizmo route.

The MagXL doesnt have a remote shifter, win! The more I researched transmissions, and the more I learned about the XL, the more I was impressed. Its a beast, cant go wrong with it.

I love it, its 10 times better, theres no flutter/surge, and now I can just tap the throttle for a quick "fuck your mom" to any chevy/dodge guy I see. LOL

Can I offer little advice? I hate vacuum line and run DOT hard plastic lines, because they don't expand and are not effected by heat. Wish I could have one on my PD blower lol
