First night out and already hearing noises.....not surprising considering the car has ever mod possible...something bound to come loose.

the thing is very loud all around. Most of which I anticipated considering the mods. The rear is what concerns me ATM.

I wouldnt think about putting any tire on there except a decent size drag radial. Can you imagine what that car would do to a normal street tire? You could be in 4th gear and win a burn out contest at 50mph.

Heh...yeah. Maybe he should get those tires that burn in colors and really mess with people on the street.

Interesting, I wonder if it is a mod you have no experience with that is functioning normally?

Paul - the car came up with the FR500s and stock GY tires. I have the bogarts as well but am not really liking the idea of running them on the street. I think I have to go with a 305/35/18 MT DR. I dont think I want to sacrifice the handling of going to a 305/45.

yea well I did think about that too, but the rear is just a stock GT500 rear with 3.73s.

Seems to make noise under small load and only at certain speeds. It did make some noise on slow turns as well. My guess it's the clutch packs going. there was no oil on the garage floor from the car sitting near 3 weeks so I doubt it lost any fluid from the rear.

I'm waiting for a response from Chris as to how loud the rear was when he had it.

Dave, i dont know if you'd switch over to the Nitto DRs, but they make a 305/40-18. I bought a set from a member here for my FR500s. I will admit that i had better traction with Mickey Thompsons.
