The car was getting 8.5mpg and it was my DD at that time. Plus I really wanted the new body style and upgraded interior of the 2010 + cars. And also the new 5.0 performance was as good as the shelby was stock to stock so I said f-it. I got the new GT loaded with nav, hids and everything, and its super fun to drive. I can really tell how much lighter it is than the GT500. I also broke even on the GT500 price wise, and got the GT for a steal, lowering my payment almost $200 a month. All in all it was a good move and well worth the savings and mpgs. Ironically now I was able to get a real DD, and the GT is in the garage for sunny warm days now. I would get another GT500, but it would have to be a loaded 11+ model or nothing.

Thanks guys. And things got serious over the last few months and had to sell it in order to keep financially stable. Im broke as shit right now but i start my new job on monday making $1000 a week which is alot better than before and now i have weekends off. Once i finish up college next year i should be able to afford another cobra. Going to try and find a blue one this time.

totally understandable man! white CS' are the best anyways.....I may be a bit biased though! hahaha

I know it's a long shot, but has anyone had their boss lower fascia painted? I'd like to see what it looks like. IIRC that 1 of 1 parnelli jones school bus yellow boss had it painted but there aren't any good shots of it. I'm thinking of painting mine to match the car. Here's some pictures of my latest mods to contribute to the thread..

^ I think it would look sick if the all of the front except for the splitter was painted white, the side skirts painted white(but leave the side splitter things black) and the rear diffuser painted white but leave the center section black(kind of like the 07-09 CS style rear bumper..
