Dude, love that front splitter. Stillen sans rods? How does it keep it's shape?

I added about 10 extra screws where it attaches to the bottom of the bumper. I've only had it on a few days so we'll see how it holds up. I just don't really care for the looks of the rods. Stillen did a great job with the Fitment. It's perfect.

JDM Trans 5R55 Catch Can

2005- 2009 Automatic 5R55 Trans Catch Can Kit

If you have a 5R55 transmission this trans came in the 05-09 Mustangs.

THIS IS A MUST HAVE ITEM !!!!

The 5R55 transmision are known for having seepage out of the
transmission vent. This vent is routed into the bell housing where the fluid
drips onto the torque converter and slings around the bell housing which
finally the fluid finds its way through the inspection plate and gets all over
the underside of you car and drips onto the road surface or worse the drag
strip.

With today’s aftermarket tuning of the 5R55 transmissions with shortened
up slip time and taking out torque reduction allows full pressure on shifts,
which creates higher pressure and forces the fluid out the vent and onto
your car or track. This is why we designed this catch can to take the fluid
and put it into this can. The fluid will then return back to the transmission.
Which means no leakage, no lost of transmission fluid.

Because eveyone might have a different ideas on were they want their
catch can mounted, it doesn't come pre-holed for mounting

If your car is a 2010 Mustang see 2010 Mustang Catch Can in this section.

Includes:

  • Catch Can
  • 30.5 Dranage Hose
  • Two crimp clamps
  • Four screws

Terry you're pushing 700+rwhp on the TCI 5R55??!?!
Justin,

Yes that is correct.

It is the TCI Super Street Fighter trans with a Circle-D custom Billet Converter.

You probably already know this but the Custom-Tune is a major life saver for the trans.

Justin,

No problem glad to be of assistance. :thumb2:

Just so you know I think I should mention the following.

The TCI Super Street Fighter does not hold up to (Continuous Drag-Strip Racing or Abuse) !!!

The 4r70 4-Sp. Tranny is much beefier and capable of taking more abuse at a Drag Strip or on the street.

I wanted mine to have what came in the Mustang from Ford only in a built addition.

It so far has held up very well but I don't daily abuse the crap out of it.

Here's a Pic of the interior.
