Throttle body issue?

I currently have a 62mm ford racing on my whipple with no issues but for an n/a car its a waste and causes problems than good. besides the nice whistle it gives you, you wont gain more than 5hp to the wheels

And that 5hp gain will be at 6500+rpm so you won't even notice it.

Did just swap the tps over or did you have to have it re tuned ? Mine skips and stumbles i have a whipple and bullet cams but the throttle response is horrible.

swap of a TB requires a tune adjustment nearly every time.

This correct. I have a 2005 gt 5-speed with c&l intake manifold, gt500 TB, c&l CAI, comp 127500 cams, and full off-road exhaust. Most gains, in general, with above came at 5800 RPMs and really made the difference above 6400. Enough for consistent 11.8s at the track. And suffered on the street. But no stumbling with custom or BAMA tunes which I use now that I don't race it at more.
