Somewhere between here and there
I am having trouble with bogging after launch
I am hooking hard with no tire spin but then car noses over and then picks up.
Is it possible I am not running enough tire pressure?
present set up is, 495 rwhp 421 tq, stock bottom end, v2 centri LTs and off rd exhaust, 4.10 gears, ET drag radials 295/45/17 on 10" rims 17psi
Launching at 4,500 side stepping clutch best 60 ft is 1.79 and 1/4 is 11.8 @121mph
I prefer not to slip clutch coming out of hole.
Would it be better to pump up the pressure and spin a little to keep rpm up?
Any advice would be appreciated

Either raise the rpm's till you slip a little bit or pick the pressure up.
You'll find a happy medium, may take you a few passes though.

Go up in tire pressure. Do 1lb per pass till you blow the tires off it and then start working down 1/4lb at a time.

Excellent advice ^ but when my car was on 17 in drag radials the sweet spot was 19-19.5 psi however im willing to bet u can run a little more possibly as a nitrous car hits the tires harder then a cenrti car IMO

The 1 pound to 1/4 trick is great advice. Also remember that every time at the track your best launch point might change due to weather and track conditions.

Nothing wrong with a little wheel spin. It generates MPH!

I'm having the same issue. I have 275/50/17s on 8" rims. I have been running 20psi and I'm still hooking pretty good. My last run I made it was cold and off the line I spun the tires a little thought I was gonna be slow. I ended up getting my fastest time. I'd say bump up the pressure a little.
