Just like the title says, I'm looking for some suggestions on tire sizes for my GT500 wheels.
I have a 2009 GT with Michelin pilot sports 285/35ZR20 on the back and 265/40ZR19 in the front.
They fit and drive well, so I was thinking about getting these same sizes, but if there are better options please let me know.

These tires will just be daily driver tires NOT used in anyway on the track, I have a set of wheels and tires for track use.
This car is getting the full GT500 suspension upgrade with eibach springs, if that matters.
Thanks in advance!
Jeff

Alot of people running the other GT500 wheels that are the same diameter front and rear run 275s all around to reduce understeer as well as allow normal tire rotation. I found the 275s on the front did make tramlining slightly worse than the stock 255s but I'd call it a worthwhile tradeoff. Since you have the staggered diameter track pack 19"/20" wheels, rotating front to rear is out anyway. I would probably keep the stock sizes on those wheels. I'm not aware of any 295+ section width tires that the manufacturer suggests mounting on a 9.5" wide wheel.
