So, after a long battle with shifting issues with my car, I took it to the track today.

Good news is, it shifts smooth as butter at 7k. Bad new is, The traction control is coming on despite being turned off by the button.

I thought something was a miss on the first two runs, but had no evidence.

Third run, the car bogged severely near the end of my burnout. I attributed it to maybe catching some traction at the end. However, shifted 2-3, tires broke loose, and it stuttered, and I happened to catch the traction control light come on, as it would when it is still on. I made sure, i did remember to turn it off.

What the hell?

Are you leaving it in Sport mode or are you turning off both the traction and stability control? I believe in 2011 there are 3 modes of stability/traction control.

I know in the previous years you could turn of the TCS with the button but there was a point that it would kick back on again if you pushed the car too far. The only way to completely get rid of it on the 05-09 cars was to disable it in the tune. i don;t know how it works with the 2011+.

are you tapping the button, or holding it and the brake pedal at the same time for what feels like an eternity?

Hold brake down and push the button for 7 seconds and the display will say AdvanceTrac Off. That turns everything off.

That's what I thought. Level 10 blamed my tranny failure on not turning traction control off in the tune. Lol. They told me that when I just turn it off with the button that some form of traction control does still exist. They blamed the added strain on the drivetrain as to the reason why their clutch bands going out. What a crock of shit about their 'bulletproof' tranny. Anyways, Yes. Apparently you can only turn it all the way off in the tune.

Even with the traction control off, the advancetrac is still active. Any overage on the yaw rate of the car and it'll activate....doing the same damn thing the traction control does. I've always had to turn mine off on the track as it doesn't like hardly any amount of tail wagging.

it is for the 05-09....not sure about the 10 3V

On my 2010 Auto, it's the same format as the 11+ cars. Hit it once and it turns off the traction control. Double tap it to put it into...'sport mode'.

Hold it down for 7 seconds....(with foot on brake)...and ...'AdvanceTrac Off' appears in the display. In all cases the ABS is still functional, and can't be turned off.
