Hello,

I am in the process of finishing up a new stroker build with a 76mm turbo, MMR turbo grind cams and ported heads. I currently have a tune setup for the stock cams. Will this tune be ok to run with the new cams? I was wondering if the valve timing would be different for this tune with the stock cam lift of .450 vs the .500 lift on the turbo cams. I do not want to hit a piston. Please advise.

Thanks

Were reliefs cut into your pistons to clear 0.500" lift? If so, then that shouldn't be an issue.

This is how mine were made (just in case I ever changed cams):

MMR spec'ed / ground these cams out to work with the stock compression / forged pistons that we went with. I am not familar with the tuning for the valve timing on these newer Stangs. I was just thinking it could push the valve too high and crash into the piston due to my tune that I have was setup for the stock cams and I am now running these higher lift ones. Thanks for the response Don.
