Recently I read an article on a turbo install of the Turbonetics kit for the S197 ..I believe it was in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Ford mag...anyway they pictured a screen looking mesh that was used to "straighten out" the airflow so that the MAF read better. Does anybody know where I can get some of this stuff? I can't get any info from Turbonetics....
Thanks in advance for the help.

you have to play with the maf to clock it on a position that doesnt give you problems with the signal. mine is facing up, the pigtail for the MAF is abuot one inch away from the hood....i have a steeda cowl hood.

Cool thanks...the MAF is right in front of the intake inlet..I have the SCT 5000 meter...it is supposed to be more tolerant...not looking like it so much. I'll keep trying.

is your MAF housing welded to theintake pipe?

i have a MAF hosing that Jim sent me and is attached to thepiping with silicone hose, try to put the maf on top of the intake pipe, that worked for me. I am using a stock MAF with a MAFIA set on number 3.
