turbo guys...how are you venting your crank case?

i defienitly want to use the pump in the future,funny thing is when i removed the pump from my camaro i thru it away,damn it,i could have just used it,lol.

any more info on your electric set up would be appreciated or any more pictures, what did you do with the passenger side and how are you holding any oil the pump draws out?

Breathers on both sides, regular cap, no spots, etc.
works fine since I'm not doing anything extreme.
I'd think for small increases over the stock internal limits just running 3 breathers/simple catch cans would be fine, but I'd definitely want a pump like that for over 600 rwhp.

I use a pump. No performance inprovement, but it keeps my motor nice and clean.

welli did install the cheby pump, it works great,i also installed a hobbs switch,the pump does nothing at idle. then at 2psi it kicks in,drawing all the vapors thru the catch can.funny thing is since i built the new motor and installed the new pump,i have not found a drop of oil in the catch can?

Back from the dead... Running both can covers to a catch can with a breather, not running yet so we'll see how it works soon.

ran 1/2" ID lines from my valve covers after installing barbed hose fittings to keep the diameters correct. Connected these to a T-Connector and then to the back of the car for a catchcan/breather.

Didn't like smelling the fumes coming from the breathers into the cabin.

that is how I run mine as well. But mine being procharged, the driver side breather is very close to the inlet on the blower. I noticed oil and know for a fact its venting oil and being pulled into the blower...no bueno. I want to run both covers into 1 catch can. do yall think I need to breathe the can or having a breather on my oil filler enough?

Ford doesn't have a breather on their can so I imagine not. You can get this one from Rehagen Racing.

I just redid my breather, PCV setup and so far I'm very happy with the results. I previously ran both covers to breather cans and just got tired of the oil smells, plus my engine is set up very loose, so I have a lot of blowby and needed more breather capacity at wot.

I had bungs welded into a set of cam covers and I am running #10 lines from each cover to a breather catch can on each side. I have also installed a Krankvent pcv fitting in the driver side line, which allows air out but not in. I am running a line from the stock vent to an oil catch can, with another Krankvent, then to the intake manifold.

This setup gives me plenty of breather capacity at wot and still uses the engine vacuum, to pull the fumes into the intake, at normal engine speeds. I don't have anymore oil smell during normal driving and I am very happy with the setup.

Just something for you to consider down the road, if you have the oil smell problem and want to get rid of it.

No oem built vehicle will have breathers for emissions reasons.

Cobra Jet isn't a vehicle, it's a part number. Not legal for road use. Same goes for the COPO Camaro. It comes with breathers.
