Let's discuss how many PD's run gobs of methanol injection

Indubitably. But PD's are working against you beween undersized cores and engine temps heating them up. In the GT500's the 1000hp core has 25 percent or so of the core covered by the lower intake. Can't upgrade them due to space, just stuck. Eh, run one. Not me, No me gusta lol....and how many of the F/I cars run air/water intercoolers with coolant tanks? Point being, if you want to go really fast with F/I there, you aren't going to run a standard air/air or limited capacity air/water setup regardless of it being a PD, centri or turbo setup.![]()
Yup, that would be Mike. Now that he is done with the mile, my car should be next. You must mean Mike. I spent some time with him out at the airport and at dinner, good guy, says he'll be back, I hope so.
My slightly modified was being very sarcastic, he figured the car was upwards of 1300-1500hp. Even blew up his dyno trying to tune it.KD - did u call him out on YT?
I hardly think a L&M motor and custom 4.2 KB blower is slightly modded And from what I read it was that the nitrous didn't activate. Not that he couldn't use it.

World's fastest Boss runs 200+mph, KB 3.6 on pump E85, no methanol, no nitrous, no ice tank (stock KB coolant reservoir, with an AFCO GT500 HX)![]()

No they use BBR as advertised on their site in their tuner packages.

It is interesting to look over the really fast stuff there and witness it run.
Eggxactly lol. Not the heat latency of methanol, but there is a shit ton more of it. You will find most big HP PD cars running E85. Coincidence? That would qualify as gobs of ethanol injection

Wait, what?![]()
Define fast.

I don't see the logic in your argument.WBT- Don't keep up with the posts but what are the plans for your ride ?

Just started the longblock assembly yesterday and already have issuesHey man! Hope all is well with you and your car.
I am looking at going F/I in a month or so. Between now and then I plan to make a few more track outings to test some suspension stuff.![]()
Look forward to whatever you have plannedBecause cars I build w ice in the tanks have low 40 to high 30 degree inlets. I'd call that betterAnd I CAN run larger intercoolers if need be. I like it done right without a handicap from the get go. Personally I don't like methanol injection on anything. Not that it's impossible to do w PD, or they suck. Idk why everyone gets butt sore lol. It would just be last on my last choice of F/I.
