Ok, i'm working on installing my turbo kit, my car is a Saleen S281 so it has the underdrive pulleys, the turbo mounting bracket bolts to the drivers side lower alternator stud. The Saleen pulley is much bigger than a factory ford and it covers that stud. So I had to buy a stock GT pulley and of course the belt is too big now. Can I just find the belt that fits and problem solved? It still has the Saleen crank and alternator pulley, it should be ok and not harm anything right?

I am pretty sure that Gates makes belts in increments of 1/2". Check them out. I am told you will get even more HP from using the OE water pump pulley.

I measured and found the belt part number through their website. The oe was 101.5, the new one should be between 95.5 and 96 inches. I ran a string through the pulleys, pushed the tensioner and marked it. How would the smaller pulley make more HP? It should cool better I guess since it'll spin faster.
