ok so i have this on my car and i have no idea what it does

any one know what it does it seems kinda useless

well the OEM two piece parts under there somewhere.... maybe that's for the front half?

i wasn't sure when i was installing my 1 piece and i took it off because it didn't fit

Looks like a over the axle pipe holder to hold it while you put it the h pipe . LOL . Never seen one of those before .

It was a tunnel support brace that was used on all the 2005 and on early 06 cars.
This is one of the many parts that Ford did away with over the years.

You can follow Fords lead and disregard it.
