Turn up the volume! Ken3030s car at the private track day passing by me at the 1000 foot mark. I was allowed right next to the track since I signed a waiver and it was a private track day.

The sound of the blower cars passing by me at the 1000 foot mark was pretty f'n loud since I was right there. Here is Kens car---I am working on Adams 5.0 video right now---that car almost hit 141 mph.

Ok I found another clip of Ken's car so I re-did the video and added it at the end.

The new and improved version:

Anyway to make this a ringtone? lol

I can separate the audio from the clip and save it as a file, but I would need to know what extension to use. I don't know crap about ringtones, as far as how they are downloaded and what file type they need to be.

Sounds fantastic! Is his hood opening in the final picture or is that just the wind lifting one corner?

Nicely done photographer and driver. Car was a bit loose that first pass.

So what was with the hood? No locked down or just lifting due to speed?

On the first pass it looks like he lined up too far to the left, he was out of the groove. Still fast as shit though.

His hood uses the stock latch in the center, its not pinned. I think it really needs to be pinned. The single attachment point in the center of the hood is allowing both sides of the hood to flex and lift up.

Nice video! Its a lot different being on that part of the track. I get to work at some of the local track events and sitting at the 1000' mark with the safety crew when a rail goes by is amazing. Its like your life is flashing in front of you.

That hood flex in concerning. I always worry about the stock hood lifting at high speed... I never would have imagined it lifted that much. Yikes!

Yeah psfracer that was an awesome video...and an awesome car. Lol the hood thing is kinda concerning...I had a 95 that the stock hood flew off at 120 mph at the track due to a faulty latch that later I found out was a tsb.
