hehehehehehe.....yes dear!

Are you going to put the oil line at your house or do we need to do that here when you get the turbo back from being coated?

Curious-is coating the turbo for looks or does it help with temps?

Keeps heat out of the engine bay and in the turbine housing to help spool. The metal itself doesnt get as hot so it will cool down faster as well, slows down fatigue and wear, and looks good! lol Dont have to worry bout it rusting/coroding either.

Kind of like cermic coating you can get on the tops of pistons, the pistons dont absorb as much heat so less wear and keeps more heat in the combustion chamber for a better burn and a little more power.

Earl, its a ceramic powder coating rated to 2000 degrees that David is going to be using.

I belive this is it.

Black Satin does not hold potentially damaging heat around the part. Surface temperatures are actually reduced, lowering thermal fatigue in the part which in turn, extends the life of the exhaust piece. Temperatures under the hood are reduced which helps provide a cooler running engine part. A two-layer coating is available for the ultimate performance.

After seeing the cars there yesterday I will also be one of the slow cars. Should still be fun.
