I know what Vortech says but has anybody pushed the envelope on the bypass valve that comes with the V2/V3 kit? Right now I am at 10# and plan on going up a little

It's a pretty lousy piece to begin with. I wouldn't push it past 10psi. It's not a question of if you will have issues its when.

I run a 25mm TurboXS piece. Works great. I ditched the Bosch one almost immediately.

I used the bosch one 12+ for a while but always felt it was on borrowed time have the mondo in there now you are gonna need to fab an adaptor to mount it. Next time I see you check out my set up.

I have seen aluminum replacement ones made by turbo smart ... Any good?

I used one of these on my fox body! It was a kit that didnt have a bypass so when I added it, I used a Kompact Turbo Smart bypass. It should be a direct replacement for yours.

I run Turbosmart Kompact 34mm bypass, alittle difficult to get the factory 1" hose on it but once I did it fit very comfortably in the place of the Bosch. Very quiet and works great, I disassembled it when I got it and looks to be well built. Im at 14-16 psi.

I ran a Paxton at that level and experienced fluttering. It never caused a problem but it was a good reason to switch over to blow through. Used a mondo bypass vented to the atmosphere with the bt setup.
