Those won't work. They are 2/4v specific. They don't have a valve relief and there isn't enough material to cut one.

Those are the 3valve version. Notice they have valve reliefs. That is a different piston then you listed from ebay.

Also the valves touch the outside edge of the piston therefore a dished piston would not necessarily give more PTV clearance than a flat top.

MOD220571F00 is the part number for 2/4v. No valve reliefs, will not work in a 3v.M3V220551F01 is the part number you want but it is discontinued.

I will have to do more research but in theory there will be no issue using stock cams. I am locking them out, and the stock 2v cam has .505/.534 lift while the stock 3v cam only has .436/.439 lift.

Bruce Stated with his set up he has .467 of clearance and not sure how much room he has. Obviously with this figure there will be no PTV issue with flat tops and no valve reliefs

They must be using a stock photo because the the part number listed in the description do not have valve reliefs. No a 3v 4.6 HASto have a relief. Regardless of cam type.

The ptv clearance in a 3 valve it's stupid close. Trust me,they won't work. I went through this 2 months ago. Had to get 20 over pistons because that's all that was left.

The mahle 4v and stock came because I thought that the 3v versions were already gone. Luckily cnc had one set left. good luck finding a 11:1 piston that comes with everything under 700 bucks.

Too close for comfort on the PTW clearance. I have 107k on the stock shortblock and they are .002 over.

Not literally too close. There was too much PTW clearance by a hair. The machinist said he wouldnt feel comfortable with it so we punched it .020 over. Im looking at these now since I cant use those.
