did you take a DDC?

Is that an acronym for Driving school that removes the point? If so, no I didn't for either of those. The first was right after I moved back to CA from Louisiana and I didn't realize that was an option. The carpool ticket doesn't have a driving school option.

And I can only do driving school once every 18 mo in CA so the ticket I got last month will be taken off with driving school.

for the record my first ticket was an aerial radar for 52 in a 45, fuck CA.

and the carpool lane was 73 in a 65 and he thought he was doing me a favor.

I can't tell in the picture, but do you have Brembo's? If you dont, that's prob the best "anti-speed" upgrade I could think of. :beerdrink:

The only other recommendation I would have for you is a bad ass radar. Like a Passport 9500.

FRPP offers a few carb legal performance upgrades. Despite the driving record issues I'd still go with a Whipple if it's in the budget. IMO it's one of the safest ways to increase power and stay emissions legal in CA.

If not a Whipple or TVS then how about an FRPP tune? Still carb legal and according to frpp it's a big increase in low end torque.

I can't help you with appearance mods because my mind just doesn't think like that.

Valentine 1 has saved my ass more times than I can count. Not just speeding, but it is great for telling you when the cops are out and actively shopping for ticket recipients so you can be especially careful in front of them.

Second is to ALWAYS hire a ticket attorney for every moving violation ticket. I used up my 5 lifetime school options before I was 20 years old so that's never been an option for me in the last 30 years. I hire a ticket attorney for $100 and it always comes back 'adjudication withheld' and I pay court costs. That's it, it's gone forever and my insurance company doesn't even see it.

Roush Rear Splitters
Roush Side Splitters
Stillen Front Splitter (w/ turnbuckles)

Roush Lower Grille Delete (I have homemade upper Grille delete retaining fogs)

BMR Subframe Connectors
BMR Lower Control Arms
BMR LCA Relocation Brackets
(other suspension that will be good to have in long run?)

Coilovers (set of R1s near me for $850 OBO)

BBK Varitunes Axlebacks (currently have a Borla Atak 3" Catback)
Boss MidPipe w/ Sidepipes (kind of already have this being held pending my payment)

Raxiom GPS

Sound System (totally foreign to me)

GT500 Steering Wheel (already have both alcantara boots)

Pop Out Quarter Windows

Raxiom Foglight Halos

LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE
Recaros (~2k)
AG M550 Wheels (~2500 w/ tires)
---selling my wheels after would be easier---

I am going to copy Cam here and bold the items that you listed that I would personally NOT want. FWIW, I'd go with the suspension mods first, then the aesthetic stuff.

I actually have several of the mods listed and I am happy with all of them.

I would caution you with the Boss side exit exhaust if you are lowered and have to go over speed bumps. I recently switched from Steeda Sport springs to H&R Susper Sports, and I have the Boss quad exhaust. I have to go over speed bumps every morning coming into work, and they scrape every time, no matter how careful I am going over them.

Also, can you post up a pic of your hommade upper grille delete the retains the fogs? I am trying to figure out a new grille set up that doesn'r require me to delete the fogs.

LCA's and relo brackets will make a world of difference. and not too expensive at that.

BMR is a stand up brand to go with also.

I don't know, call me stupid, but I like how the car looks now. Low, nice wheels, simple and not over done, a great daily driver.

But if you insist, why not spend some money on stuff that you will have to anyway after you get the blower next year when your record is better?

Read BMR LCAs, UCA, that kind of thing. The looks department is all you, but a lot of times less is more--don't over do it.

One mod not on your list, that I would like to have, is the AirLift Suspension package. You can lower your car as much as you want and still be able to handle those occasional speed bumps and steep entrances by just raising it up. This is a mod I would love to put on my car.

Yes. It is worth is. I love having my car low, but not fuck it up on the bad roads here in DC/VA/MD. To add with the ride heights, the ride quality is superb. I don't track my vert so I can't give insight to that but with this being a car I drive to work in nice weather or just cruise around, I love it and I don't have to compromise with terrible ride quality or scraping on inclines and speed bumps.

I may sound crazy, but dropping the car all the way down was not a selling feature for me. I like how a tiny bit of wheel gap looks. However people just go nuts over it and it warrants hilarious reactions.
