I'd check your door drains too. I found out the hard way that my firewall drains were plugged last year, and at that same time discovered my passenger door drain was plugged. Gallons of water came out. Turns out the sloshing noise I was hearing in turns was not my water bottle, but my door...

I’ve searched for this but haven’t found anything about this. One day - out of nowhere - water started dumping into passenger floor. The heavy rain we got that day is nothing unusual. The water was literally gushing from underneath the glovebox. I noticed the rubber seal that presses against the lower edge of the windshield was pulled away from the glass, so i pressed it back. But water dumped in again from last night’s rain. I have to keep a bucket in the car now, when it’s not in the garage.

Has anyone else had this problem? I’ve heard of leak problems near the kick panel next to the smart junction box but this is happening from underneath the glovebox.

Any ideas would be awesome, thank you!

I had this a few years ago. It was fixed. 6 months later i realized some led lights were stayong on. After research and some fuse changes, had sjb replaced. Fixed right up (500 bucks all together) had it done by a dealer.

If you put in LED bulbs, they will always be 'on'. Very dim when everything is off, but still visible. Replacing the SJB should not have fixed this. The lights are solid state switched, and there is some current always going to the bulbs.

That seemed like good advice so I got down and checked mine. Surprise, both doors had the front plug missing so I pulled the rear ones off and looked inside. All nice and dry, no leaves twigs or MacDonald wrappers. I left the plugs off. Lots of trees around my place and it's almost bud season.

I'm sure the plenty amount of threads and replies have more than enough answered this question, but I'll tell you all what mine was related to lul.

When I installed my sub wire routing, I routed it through the rubber gromet just below the cowl gutter rubber gromet and the hole was just too massive to create a seal that every time I'd drive in the rain, I'd get a massive puddle into my passenger side footwell.

I tried replacing the clip seals for the cowl, cleaning gutter out, even thinking the A pillar seal was bad only to realize after I got a new firewall gromet from the yard and cut it out better and both cocked the crap out of it with RTV after routing the amp cable through, that it finally stopped leaking.
