Last few days I've noticed a weird noise whenever I come to a complete stop or even just press the brake pedal while the car is parked. It sounds like a creaking sound as the brake pedal is pushed in. Just curious as to what it could be exactly, since I have never heard thsi noise from any other car I have owned.

Car stops fine, no grinding sounds or anything.

In addition to what others above said. It may be the caliper slides started to seize up as well. My rears where starting to lock up when I did them last time. They creaked a little to before the brake job, but no noise afterwards.

So basically it depends on where the creak is coming from.
