I've done 2 sets, the first time I did what BMR said and put the 2 sets together. After dealing with the epoxy failing every few washes I bought a new set and realized the diameter does fit, just very tight. All you have to do is file down small nubs on the back of the emblem so it fits flush. I used satin black paint on the ring.

I've always love Continentals, had DWS's on my Acura for a while and will be returning to them for my next set. Too early to compare the DW's to my Nitto's but so far they feel great!

Keep in mind that Conti has new DWS tires now.
They are called DWS06 ..........

TIL where the intake shroud I got from VMP came from - it's the one from that JLT kit! I'm using the ford racing zip tube and MAF.

I'll post a pic of all the mods I did to it to get it to work in my build thread sometime.

Finally got my t-shifter installed correctly. Had to order a boot retainer from CJ's that worked like a charm. Next up will be some Agent 47 mirrors.

Modified a 10-14 boot to work with my 05-09 IUP boot bezel so that I don't have to use an adapter anymore. Looks much better.

Drove it. It's been sitting since just after thanksgiving. We are well behind on snow but its stayed cold enough the roads never really cleared off until just the last day or two. Still tons of gravel and dirt especially in lots where I just creep it into my spot. Was nice to drive the car. Had to keep the foot out of it with month old 91 in the tank and 40 degree temps on all seasons.

Nice! They should look real good. I am never happy with wheels for long it seems. Been eyeing some weld rts lately.. but ugh the cost.

Quoted the photo because it looks so proper. Nice!

I was lucky, my Roush shifter handle went through my Bullitt boot without any modifications. GT's have to run a big ugly grommet.

Got the new rear wheels/tires mounted/balanced today and installed on the car.
Looks like I might have to adjust the panhard bar a tiny bit toward the right, but the bar is gonna get replaced by a BMR Watts link soon anyway.

Gabe,

a) what size are the rear tires, width are the rims? I searched one page back and couldn't find the info.

b) does your car feel terribly slow after hopping out of the GT500?

b) does your car feel terribly slow after hopping out of the GT500?

a) 305/35/20 tires, rims are 20x10 with 40mm offset (really wish they were 45-48mm so they'd tuck in a bit more)

b) Lol ... it's a noticeable difference ... the GT500 just has such effortless acceleration ... between the power, the MGW shifter, the 3.73 gears ... it all adds up to quite an animal.
My car is no slouch, but it does kinda feel like I have to work at it to get it to do what comes so effortless in the Shelby.
It is what it is ... I have a BAP and a bigger TB waiting to be installed, and I'll have a local tuner re-tune it and see what that does.

I really dig those wheels on your car, Gabe. Looks awesome!

Thanks Chip!

I just got back under the car and adjusted the panhard bar a bit more, so now the tires stick out exactly 3/8" beyond the fender on each side.
Really wish the offset was 48 instead of 40, but was dead-set on these wheels, so I really hope not to have any rubbing or other issues with this fitment.
Doing the same tires on the GF's Shelby soon, and they're gonna be on wheels with a 37 offset, so that should be even more interesting
