Lol, but actually the graphics are out of Larry Shinoda's Speed shop in SoCal so It's about as authentic you can get with an 07, no? They were on the car when I bought it. I left them on because there was no Boss mustang at the time so I wasn't really posing since I couldn't pretend to be a car that didn't exist. I've seen 3 others with the same graphics, different colors. Now I'm afraid to take them off because they've been on for so long. I don't know what it looks like underneath.

Swapped a 19K mile 3.31 axle into the car this weekend. It's so nice to be able to use first and second again, but it's taking some getting used to. I keep forgetting I need to drop two gears instead of one, but man the car is so much more usable without the 4.10s.

Gear swap weekend I guess. I replaced my 4.10s with 3.55s that I had micropolished. Drove it this morning and it's dead quiet. What a relief. Interesting note: 4.10 ring gear is 2.5lbs heavier than 3.55.

At this point I don't know how effective micropolishing is. It's supposed to free up horsepower and should also reduce break-in time. They do look good though and it was only $50. I used performancemetal.net.

Ordered a new aftermarket-oem hood and shaker scoop. Going to cut a brand new hood and get it painted!!!

Ordered a fresh set of OEM taillights and a new JLT filter. I like to keep two for rotation purposes.

Did you install the gears yourself? With the right tools, I have always wanted to do a set myself.

Yes I installed them myself. I have setup gears about 6 times and it is still very time consuming for me. Some guys knock it out in 2-4 hours. It takes me about 1.5 days. I pull the whole axle out so I am not laying on my back and can easily pull the diff in and out. Not difficult, but takes time... at least for me.

I agree, I've done three gear swaps and can't imagine myself doing a good job with the housing still in the car, and it takes time too imo. I think some people might be OK with "it's close enough" but not me with something pretty damn critical.

The work to get the rear out of the car just isn't that extensive either imo. Once the gears, and bearings are installed correctly, the job is 90% done imo. Putting the rear back in is nearly nothing. And this is coming from a guy with no lift..

Ive done a couple, but now I just buy the parts and take the car to a local shop that charges $325 with the rear in the car and $275 out of the car.

And since Im in this thread, took all the parts to the machine shop for my 323 Big Bore Stroker build and all the bearings and seals came in for my Procharger. A few to many of those 78000 rpm pulls on the blower has made is a little noisy.
