Ride was good, more comfortable I think than the Steeda/Hyperco springs.
I measured the ride height before I drove it, the front was the same as the worn Steedas, the rear was about 3/8" lower.
Disappointed the front isn't a bit higher like I thought and hoped would be, being GT500 springs.

But I do really like the stance:

It looks good. Mine sits about the same. It may settle a little more. At least after all that work the ride is better. Last fall I moved the batt (30 lb.) to the trunk.

wt1.jpg wt1.jpg wt2.jpg wt3.jpg Went a check out the car - it just came of the dyno - going to bring it home tomorrow- was raining off and on pretty heavy, Pics of the new wheels/drag set up minus the center caps. I like the way the front wheels really set in and under the front fender- suspension is now full Viking front and rear with bmr #12's rear spring.

Despite the rain today, I got the car inspected today.

Same here. Got it done early since I'm really not sure I can have the rear tires last till next month, lol.
The state of nh allows you to do it as much as 3 months early, so I went for it.
It was starting to rain as I was getting home.

Spent the day detailing the Mustang. Like, literally, the whole day. I do this every year. My birthday is the 7th, so I always take the Friday off closest to that and spend an entire day detailing. Started with the interior: vacuum, detail, and leather treatment, washed it, did some light buffing with the Torque DA, put a coat of Jet Seal on it (which is AWESOME, BTW), and finished with detailing the engine.

Drove to 3 gas stations today (in the truck) testing fuel all 3 came up short all tested low e70 range- going to have to re check in a week to see if the winter shit will be gone soon. To get a barrel of e-98 is over a 5.5 hour round trip but at least I know what I am getting then

A neighbor down the road gets his e98 delivered to the house. Supposedly, if it's under 250 gallons in a single delivery, barrels can be shipped to residences.

I have a shop - w/ fork lifts- but they want like 150(last years deliver price) and that is for 4 barrels- a barrel cost around 185ish with tax(55 gallons) I just wish I had more friends that ran E and would split the order with me. the e98 is great stuff because there is no impurities in it- then you either deluite with premium or race fuel.

Last time I drove it I hit some bumps and the car hit really hard in the back.
Today I took the rear tires off (car supported on jack stands under the rear axle) and saw that the driver side bump stop was almost touching the body, and the pass side was actually touching.
Not sure why my car sits about 3/8" higher on the left rear compared to the right rear, but it does.

I went ahead and trimmed the top part of the bump stops. Looking forward to driving it again to see how she drives now.

Today I also put new spark plugs in the wife's Shelby, cleaned the throttle body and the supercharger elbow, and tested the boost bypass valve since it was sticking a bit yesterday, making the car run like crap.
For some reason it works just fine again if shutting off the car and re-starting it.
Did the same thing to us at the beginning of last year and after the initial trouble it was fine for the rest of the year.
Hope it doesn't end up going bad cuz an initial search only found them available through VMP for a whopping $80 or some shit.

Putting everything back together, the throttle body pigtail went on and didn't click, just felt loose.
I fidde with it a bit, the retainer clip breaks off. FML, now I go ahead and redneck a quick fix involving 3 zipties, and go ahead and order a new Motorcraft WPT-948 pigtail, so I can fix it the right way in a few days

Some pics, if anybody cares:

As a suggestion, get the bump stop relocation brackets to move the bump stops into the center of the frame V for a little more distance before they contact the frame. You'll easily double or triple the distance you presently have between the two.

Thanks for the heads up!

If memory servers me right when I installed the P springs they recommend cutting the bump stop to where you have it now. I never heard of relocation brackets for the bump stops. Who has them? I'll try and look under my car tomorrow and see where mine sit.
