I finally had a weekend to myself and I decided it was time to get my CDC aggressive chin and fiberglass brake scoops mounted up and pre-fit to the GT.
I dove right in and got the car up on jackstands. Wheels off, splash shields and lower grill out.

Then I measured for the cutout and went to town with the dremel. Once I got my cutout done and all the edges cleaned up I was able to pre-fit the chin.

Here's the chin and scoops mocked up. I still have to get the support rod bracket and APR Performance support rods and lower front splitter ordered as well as the agent 47 brake hose and bracket kit to finish up everything. I think it's gonna look AND work awesome!

I love the NT05s. They stick! I've always liked Nitto product and have always been able to get proven results from their products. The drag radials work awesome as well and I remember picking up 2-3 tenths of a second in the quarter mile by just mounting up rear wheels and Nitto DRs on my Mustang. The responsiveness of these tires are sharp and the car hooks up very well. I do have 315s out back so for a 330 hp setup that's plenty of rear tire. I love the looks as well.

I think that is the tire I'm going to get next. I have invo's on my car now in a 315. I like them but I'm a tire whore when I have the money. Lol

I located all my stock parts so they will be ready when I put it all back next week. I'm sad about losing a close friend but the replacement will hopefully fill that void. :boobies:

And yes, it is really happening this time.

Cam .....

I am so confused.

The Bullitt Mustang is going away if I am reading this Post right.

I thought you were building the Bullitt

Things unfortunately change, I came across an opportunity that made more sense. I was planning on building the car, and I was really close to pulling the trigger. In the end I decided that another route would be smarter for me.

Installed Steeda Ultralights, Koni struts, UMI control arms and relocation brackets.
Also took the stang to the track for the first time with just an axle back and shifter. Could only muster a 14.2 @ 99.

Not done yet but my Steeda 10 rib setup arrived yesterday - once that's on, going to fix the dent in the hood!

JonnyGMachine that thing you did is going on my list.

that shit looks awsome and I will be doing autox and road racing next year so I would like some brake cooling:thumb2:

today I just picked up my car from a detail shop

got 35% tint all around (MD legal limit) and full inside/out detail.

35 doesn't sound like much but with the black car and the black/red interior it really looks good.

will have pics with weather clears up

I hope everyone is having a terrific Christmas (if applicable).

Just got an update on the new ride. Best Christmas ever for a Jew. It should be here next week.
