What have you done to your mustang today?

Just hit 60k miles so it was time for the routine oil and oil filter change, fuel filter and cabin air filter.

I change the cabin filter every 15k miles. This is what it looked like when I changed it today. If you never have, do it!

^first time I did it, car probably had about 40k miles haha. You can imagine what that one looked like.


When i first met my wife she had a 2003 Acura rsx type s with about 100k miles or so. She had never changed hers out before so when I did some maintenance on her car that shit was literally black with all kinds of fucking bugs in it haha

Had the new Ford Racing (Barton) M-7210-MGTB 6-speed short throw shifter installed. So much better than the stock shifter. I had the 401A interior aluminum shift knob so the boot doesn't fit right at the base of the adapter like it is supposed to, so I have to buy the other one.

Here are some photos. I think it looks much better than the aluminum shift ball. It looks like it belongs now:

well last night i got to race a good friend of mine in his 2006 srt-8 charger. on motor it was a no contest. on a 100 shot he gets around me at around 90mph. the track closed due to the cold weather. it's open to day but i have to work. but like i said before i'll post a new thread with it since there is so freaking little about this set up anywhere. even if you google it and follow people who have pursued this set up they are vague at best. gt-350 helped me in the decision and matt d. bu they are both stick cars. anyways...on 26" drag radials on the street with a decent burn out at 25psi, the car not only grabs but i am pinned to the seat. only problem i run into now is i hit the rev limiter in the 1-2 shift, not sure if it's the tune or the transmission not able to react.

Aside from that i picked out my new wheels and got the wife on board with the purchase so i'll be ordering em up tomorrow.

I've been eying a Barton shifter for my car. I had a hurst short throw for a little while and hated how loud it was.

Considered removing the Paxton kit to switch to turbo. Anybody wanna buy a complete intercooled Paxton kit for a 05-09? Or wanna trade a turbo kit for it?

That wotbox turbo vid posted made me jealous haha. And I am ready to remove my longtubes, cant seem the find the darn exhaust leak and its driving insane. Figured if i was removing the longtubes, might as well remove everything and switch it up a bit.
