yeah denver car dealers were doing the same thing. Didnt sell a single one after months. Now they are down to the mid 60's. Annoying.

Thats fucking hilarious. It would be cheaper to fly somewhere and drive one home. Which is exactly what I would do if dealers were huge idiots like that around here.

Gee, spend 20k mark up... Or 2k on a flight and gas home.

Let it sit and idle for a few minutes.

Finally got around to pulling the tranny out of my step-sons 08 GT to replace the slave cylinder. THe thing is cooked! Looks like user error to me, riding the Damn clutch like a little Bitch. Well tomorrow night he gets to put the damn thing back together. Maybe he can learn a lesson from it.

$19,995 markup? FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF THAT!

For that they should be throwing in a Kia for free when you buy a Shelby...

The dealer here in Santa Barbara is pulling the same crap. They have a GT500 with that markup and a Roush RS3 with a 15,000 mark up. They will sit on them till some fool coughs up the money. It won't be me.

Me and Bret check the clutch for wear, replaced the pilot bearing and slave cylinder and re-installed his transmission in his 08 GT. Will finish bolting everything up tomorrow night.

Tried the bread method of bearing removal for the pilot bearing per a link I found in one of the clutch install threads. Absolutely the easiest method I have ever used to remove one. About a 1/2 of a slice of bread and about 10 hits with punch and hammer and done.
Great link and write up.

We bought 1QIKPNY a sister. Just picked up my wife a 09 Vista Blue GT/CS to replace her 01 mustang that was totaled a few weeks back.

Thanks. Oh yeh I have tons, but for now the mod bug hasn't bit her yet. Hoping I can mod it some, it's pretty much a blank slate.

A much needed wash. Was absolutely filthy from the rain/snow mix that we have had. Much better now.

Installed Roush Side Splitters. Might do the Decklid today too. Gotta find my little body saw.

Installed Pypes O/R H pipe. Sounds awesome with my Flowmaster AB. Also instaled JLT CAI. The tune really brings the car to life.

Finished mounting the turbos to the headers and downpipe last night, then wiped down the resulting RTV mess from every shiny surface of the engine (that shit gets everywhere).

Gapping/installing plugs tonight, as well as finally hooking up the dimmer wire for my AVIC Z1, and some other minor interior work.
