What have you done to your mustang today?

Since it was dry and sunny - but 20 degrees - and I haven't had the car out in several weeks I decided it was a good day to take it for a drive and get things warmed up again. It really felt different after driving my Mariner or my wife's Lincoln MKZ for the last 3 weeks!

Even though it was 21 degrees out this morning, I took the car to Griot's Caffeine and Gasoline show today. His museum of restored vintage road race cars is amazing. They fired up their 1970's F1 cars which was really cool.

Removed the yellow fog light tint. I like it, but since they are LED's, the light was not quite yellow, because it had a slight green tint to it. Started peeling when it was 28 out. Not a good idea. Came off in chunks, small chunks to be exact. Went to a buddies house, parked it in the garage, turned the spot light lamps he has on in there, aimed at the fogs, and went inside for about 30 minutes. Came back out, peeled them off in solid pieces after that. Looks naked, but I am happy with the stock look.

Went to the shop I work at and tightened my shock bolts and flushed my master cylinder. Went to start the car and all it would do is crank. WTF? Then my work buddy comes up with my fuel pump relay in his hand and says with a shit eating grin on his face "This might help." I turn around and 4 of my crew are laughing their asses off.

Very nice! I had Jim help me with mine just for the sake of time. Looking back it was a good decision, but if I had more time I could have done it myself. Go slow and follow the instructions!

So what kind of cams did you put in?

Also I recall reading somewhere they you would flip the throttle body upside down for some reason. I think it was the way the throttle blades opened up, would you happen to remember this or expand on why you mounted the throttle body upside down?

Possibly. I'll probably buy new though when the time comes.

Probably a good idea! Tires are still good on them, but the clear coat is peeling on the rear two.

Almost, lol. Very, very similar to cv3's. They are STR 607's and I stuck 2010+ steering wheel emblems on the center caps. Should have them mounted Wednesday or Thursday.
