Moroso overflow tank and nice chrome fuse box cover now in place sure looks purrty.
Still need to install the line lock, waiting on the SHRacing flush mounted louvers.

Started painting my RTR decklid panel. Got 3 coats of primer on. Will probably wait til tomorrow to lay on the paint. Hoping to have it installed toward the mid/end of the week

Today I may just pull it out of its garage and drive it. Maybe. Last time I drove it, I had to swap out a dead battery.

I should really drive it more, but I've had too much fun working on the house.

I pulled off my spoiler and wet sanded the decklid with 1500 then 2000 to remove the outline of it and all the etched water spots then I compounded it. Looks so much better. Getting ready to move the spoiler back to the edge of the decklid where it should be.

Haha there are squiggly lines all over the freeway as proof. I'm not positive on the speed, to be honest. I just know I was going between 70 and 80 mph, probably high in the RPMs but not pegged at 7500 in 3rd. All I could hear were tires screeching.

Haha for about 12 hours after the incident, I would've seriously considered the trade. Now I've resigned to the fact that I need a better compound tire, and to always respect the fact that I'm driving a 600 hp rocket (especially in traffic).

Truth. I learned this lesson with my 275hp Bullitt. You never cheap out on tire. With the level of power you are at, compounds the issue 10 fold. What are you rocking now?
